Murrieta, CA.
Not from YouTube, but from the videos I recorded and placed in iPhoto with my iPod touch.
I tried updating Adobe reader, but nothing happens.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Adobe Reader has nothing to do with playing back video files, it is responsible for displaying PDF text documents files. Adobe Flash, if that is what you mean, is also not responsible for video playback of your videos stored in iMovie.

What Mac OS X version, what iPhoto version do you use?

Since when does this occur? Does it only happen in iPhoto? Can you play back videos stored outside of iPhoto?
Does it also happen in another, even temporarily created, user account?

Have you tried deleting "com.apple.iPhoto.plist" in Macintosh HD / Users / YOU / Library / Preferences / yet?
What if you go create a new iPhoto library and add some sample iPod touch video to it? Can it be played back then?
