I am not sure why this would be happening, but on any website I go to where there is video, from cnn to youtube, the normal video player image you would see is completely blank and no video ever appears. I have no clue why this would suddenly happen, but where would be a good place to start investigating the cause of this?
 
anyone out there know about these types of issues? Would it possibly involve safari preferences. I have not done anything to the plists
 
I would try downloading flip4mac and update your flash player. Have you tried it in firefox? Did you delete quicktime?
