I can't find Restore icon in Disk Utility any more. And trying "Scan Image For Restore" just shows "Can not write to selected disk image."
Does any one know how to do now?

No way to restore dmg to disk in 10.11

Was lost for a second finding restore also...two finder tab disk utility toolbar and click customize,drag "restore" to toolbar
As a rule of thumb: always check the menu bar. If you can’t find it, select Help and type the menu you’re looking for. It will point the option out for you.
