I searched the forum and didn't find any mention of this. I know it's not common, but I assume someone would have tried it by now. I was playing with my friend's iPhone tonight, and I wanted to check out my picture gallery. My web page address is http://home.comcast.net/~tms2010/albums (take a look if ya want :)). I realize it's not a pretty domain, but it is the unix default, and there are still some home pages out there that have ~'s. There is no problem tying a ~ in any other text field, but it refuses to acknowledge that the ~ is a valid character for a web address. You can't even bring up the special characters screen that has the ~ on it when your in the address bar. It not a major problem per-say, but it really should be possible. Any thoughts?

Tilde. And then what gr8tfly wrote. Works for me, too.
