Hi,

I had an iPhone XS with iOS 12.3.1.... installed the public beta profile... phone rebooted... iOS 13 PB2 was listed under Software Updates in ‘Settings’.... I touched on Download and Install... phone rebooted to install....

And then.... the home screen appeared and a pop-up asked for the iOS passcode and then the SIM’s pin. And that’s all.... There was no ‘welcome’ or ‘update completed’ or any type of splash screen that normally appears after updating software. It appeared like the iPhone had simply rebooted.

Is this normal? Doesn’t iOS 13 have any ‘welcome screen’ after updating yet?

Thanks!

Thank you!

I’ve also installed it on the iPad and also no welcome screen...so it seems to be normal. Maybe they’ll introduce it in later betas....

Don't even know when the last time was where I got a welcome screen. The only thing I usually get is a notification saying "Updated to XYZ".
I think they're now doing app welcome splash screens instead (like when you open the TV app for the first time). Makes more sense to me honestly.
