I am a fan of the white bezels, but without a gold iPad Pro option in the new lineup, I suppose the white bezels are a thing of the past?

iPad Pro No white bezels??

Good riddance. I always felt they looked like crap compared to the black that hides the display edges and provides more contrast when it is on. I guess they are saving the gold color option for next year as it's unlikely to see much more than a spec bump then.
Would look awful with the amount of sensors required for Face ID
With the rise of FaceID and slim bezels I think white bezels are done. I'm sure Apple tried it and decided it looked bad with all the FaceID sensors.

I always wished I could get a gold version with a black bezel. The iPhone XS gave the options, the iPads left me disappointed :[
I misses the white bezels too so much TT_TT !!!! It was more feminine.
I LOVED the look with the pencil. Same on my iPhone too but I am getting a screen glass that will cover the black borders with sailor moon design. So, I am excited. I am debating if I am keeping this beautiful rose gold iPad with white border or get new ipad with apple pencil.... too bad the pencil won't work on older iPads
