Hi. I used to charge my iPhone X on a wireless charging stand from PULESEN „fast wireless charging“. This did and does work fine, but on my new iPhone 11 pro max the charging stand only blinks its status LED and charging doesn’t start...

I don’t have another stand but this still works fine with my old X. Any idea what could be the problem?

thank you

Do you have a case on your pro max? If so, remove it and see if it charges. If it does, then it could be the case.

Given the 11 Pro Max is slightly thicker this year, and depending on the case thickness, it could be just enough for phone to be out of range for charging. Remove the case, see if charging goes as normal. If yes, you will need a new case. If not, have the phone checked out, but it most likely will be a return.

You went from an X-size unit to the Max-size unit. It's possible your charger does not have the coils located to be compatible with the larger iPhone's. Check with their specs to see if they have confirmed compatibility with the large size units. Qi charging is all about proximity and positioning.

Thank you. There is no case on it. And at the most likely charging position the Qi stand does starts blinking. And the charging (of course) doesn’t start. I suspect the blinking to be an error indicator since it didn’t blink while charging my iPhone X.

The charger is specified for at least an Xs max

This is my vote too. Does it allow horizontal placement, and if so, does that allow it to charge properly?

Id it's designed for an Xs Max, it should work. Place your phone horizontally on the charger. If that doesn't work, you may have a bad phone. You are still within your 14 day return, so check with another charging stand or puck if you know someone who has one.

I’m having a similar issue with a Logitech wireless charger (https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/powered-iphone-wireless-charging) that worked great with my XS Max. It will charge my new 11 Pro Max but only with the case removed. When I use a case, it does not work. The cases I have tried are two different silicone Apple cases and one Apple leather case. It's frustrating because I really like this charger and don’t want to remove the case every time I want to charge the phone.

Do you live near by an apple store? They do have those mophie or belkin wireless charger on the table. See if your phone charges from those.

I'm using the Samsung wireless fast charger that has a spot for the Galaxy Watch and a phone. My Pro Max works perfect on it. Also have other stand alone Samsung wireless charges and my iPhone works on all of them.
Maybe because the Pro Max is designed for fast charging now, the wireless charger you have only outputs 1amp? Not enough juice to charge wirelessly charge your Pro Max? Just a guess?

Hi. Today it is suddenly working. The only thing I did yesterday was finally do the update to iOS 13.1.

And now... works like a charm again.

I have an 11 Pro Max. It charged wirelessly when I first got it, but hasn't since on several wireless chargers. My wife has an 11 Pro, and she's experiencing the same problems. I've done a hard reset and that allowed it to charge wirelessly ... ONCE.

Anyone else?

I'm running 13.1.3.

My wife’s 11 pro max would have to be rebooted to charge wirelessly but after the latest update it’s fine now.

I had same problem with one of me Qi charger brands but not the other. Both worked with my old iPhone 8, but only one works with my new 11 Pro. Maybe its not compatible (I know they should be).
