This would depend on your sample size and test conditions. Even 50% or 100% might not be statistically significant if you are running a flawed setup.

If you read through the thread, you'd see that what to do with the original RAM was the OP point.
I still maintain that Apples price at $150 installed is pretty good. Crucial hasn't had any DDR3 2G sticks in-stock that I've seen. I went w. OWC because it was available.
Yea, it has only 2 slots and comes with 1Gb+1Gb. To upgrade to 4Gb you would have to buy 2x2Gb.Cause I was planning on upgrading i.e buying 2gb ram and sticking it in with my other 2gb...
Edit: I'm guessing by your reactions its 2GB (1 + 1 ) ?
They're two 1GBs, not one 2GB.i would buy someone's used 2gb stick

OT but what app is this?Me too:
Everyone here has made good points, but I haven't seen anyone mention an obvious one.
I am going to buy from crucial at a later time, because I have enough money for the macbook now, without the upgraded ram. I either wait longer to get it upgraded through apple, or I get my macbook now and upgrade to 4gb soon. I'd rather have my macbook now and new ram later, instead of waiting a couple weeks for a macbook with 4gb in it already.
But that is just me.![]()
