I say I'll gladly eat my words. I'm frankly surprised, but it looks like Comex found a new exploit hole.
It's an exploit in the firmware 4.3, not hardware like other devices.
It's user land, which means the next firmware breaks it (if apple fixes it).
The hardware exploit will take longer, and will most likely be held in secrecy until the iPhone 5 and maybe even next gen iPod touch.
This one should be released soon, as it will most likely be another jailbreakme.com
He said on Twitter that he had to find a new exploit to replace part of what he had been doing. So, sounds like there are still new holes to be found.
Seems like exploits have been getting discovered rather quickly on the newer devices lately, iPhone 5 jb happened within a few days. Hope it's a pattern
