noise cancelling and playing music

Hi guys,

I assume iphone is the same as android and apps cannot send audio through to the microphone is that correct?

What i want to do is play a sound to the other side of the caller, I have managed to achieve this on android by playing a sound through the loudspeaker, and the other side can hear it fine. however do iphones have noise cancelling? would this method work?

Interesting thanks, I assume that is not something that could be done by an app temporarily though, or could it?

It's a setting in phone options that you can enable/disable manually as you wish.
