So my MBP has this occasional, random soft tick/pop sound coming from it. Documented here:

AppleCare sent me a replacement and this MBP doesn't seem to make the noise! Yay!
But it does have a slight screen distortion. Boo! There is a very faint streak of light coming down the center of the screen. It's really only noticeable on white and gray backgrounds. But these are also the colors most web pages use.
Anyway, I need to send one of these back. I'm annoyed by the sound but I'm concerned that in the long run I'll be just as annoyed by the screen distortion.
Which would you keep?
