I heard an interview on BBC radio last night with this judge. He said they make it make it even worse to listen to as they play the music back on an old boombox which sounds awful. He said the recidivism rate is about 4%.
Weekend in New England and Even Now are really great songs... and they connect with my earlier life. I don't love him, I don't hate him... and with all the discussion on how music is a personal thing you'd think some would be more tolerant.
Nope, I was wrong.
I'm not a huge fan, but I don't mind him. Although Copacabanna drives me insane after staying at a hotel in Mexico with the same name...they played the song a couple times a day...for two weeks.
I think the Barney songs would ultimately do me in.
"I love you, you love me, let's hang Bar-ney from a tree!"
"Barry Manilow does not sleep....HE WAITS!!"
"Barry Manilow is not hung like a horse. Horses are hung like Barry Manilow."
"Death, or Mandy?"
Death by Mandy, and a case of aggravated Copacabana.
