If you only use a sports band then no it won't scratch. The watch itself will be fine; most concerns come from people with milanese or link bracelets.

I have the Nomad stand. No issues so far. I only have sport bands and a leather loop. I just think they're a little pricey. Glad I had a gift card to defer some of the cost.
