Hi guys,

Sorri for any mistake but i'm not english.

So my idea is to use plex on a Mac mini in The living room. But i want to have all my movies , songs, and photos on a hdd conected to na imac in other room. So Thaís is possible and works fine? Or. The best is to have all The lybrary stored in a hdd conected to Mac mini and use Apple Remote Desktop to control The Mac mini? All Thaís is to be used by wireless !

I hope anybody can help me !

either will work.

If your library is on the imac...

*you will need good wireless speeds, or your content may stop and start. (for high bandwidth like straight blu-ray rips 802.11g will not be enough)

*obviously your imac will have to be awake if you want to watch anything.


if your library is on the mini...

*no need to use remote desktop, as plex has a web interface built in, you can access from any computer.

Thanks for tour amswear , but another doubt is , is not easy to operate a Mac mini in a big screen só can i use remote control from imac and control The mini ?
