Can a nom cellular apple watch be blacklisted? Im looking at one on Facebook marketplace and it doesn't say its black but im worried later when i make the purchase that some one would block it.
All though i know its non cellular so with that being said do i have to worry about a black list or not on a non cellular watch ?
Thanks in advance

Not through cellular providers, but someone could lock it with Find My. The key is to make it a condition of the sale that you have it set up in your Find My before the sale is completed.

If you’re not comfortable with that then buy new.

What actually happens to Find My when the AW is un-paired? Does it stay in Find My?
Never checked it so just curious.

I’m not totally sure either to be honest. I thought that unpaired it stayed in Find My and had to be removed from there too. I could be wrong, just going by posts I’ve seen here where people have had similar issues.

Yea, if I were in OPs situation, I’d have the seller show me the AW while it’s paired to their phone, have them in-pair it and then go thru find my and remove it, and then show me that it’s not associated with their AppleID anymore……
