The old Macbooks (any prior to 2015, such as my late-2013 MBP) have mechanical trackpads and they seem to be lasting very well. I probably will now that I've been triggered to check 😁, but I don't really notice the difference in feel between the mechanical and haptic ones. Reactions: Zazoh and jeremydc
