This definitely falls under the heading of "First-World problems," but does anyone know of an iPad or iPhone digital clock app that doesn't try to emulate old-style mechanical flip numbers with the horizontal break down the center, LED segments with background ghosting of the non-lit segments, or black LCD segments against a bright silvery background? Now we finally have the technology to create clean, fully formed numerals against a solid black background i.e., something that's easy to see for near-sighted people who are extra-bleary-eyed in the middle of the night, and without a distracting bright background and developers only want to emulate retro technology, with all its drawbacks, with the apparent idea that it's more interesting visually. I've seen probably a dozen clock apps, many with several clock-face options, and none has what I'm looking for.
Another nice feature that I've only seen in one clock app is an alarm that you can disable with one touch. I usually wake up before my alarm goes off, and before my wife wakes up, so it's nice to be able to reach over and turn off the alarm with one touch, before it goes off, as opposed to having to pick up my iDevice, press the Settings icon, go to Alarm, slide it to the Off position, return to the clock display, and set my iDevice back in its stand.
