I have heard that RSS is something that is....... well I don't know what it is at all. I sometimes see "RSS" in my web browser and I am hearing that it can be used in Leopard Mail.

Please give me some sort of definition if you could and how can I use this RSS thing.

RSS is the underpinning technology to much of what people call "web 2.0". It enables personalisation of your own internet space with news/info feeds that you have subscribed to.

And, RSS within e-mail is something that you can now do with Office 2007 on Windows and which you can also do with Mail 3.0 (in Leopard). However, because that explanation still sucks, watch this video - "RSS in plain English":
