How do I find out what version macbook pro you have?
Read your signature?
no, I mean how do I find out it its rev a or rev b or so on?
You have Rev. B MBP.
How do you know? I just got this macbook pro like about 2-3 months ago...
see I found this
But my serial number doesn't fall under anything!
It's a Rev C according to this chart. (A & B were both Core Duo, not Core 2 Duo)
EDIT: Fixed Link to main page.
But mine fits in the rev.C category?
Try using system profiler. I just went into it and found out that my iMac 500mhz DV is technically a PowerMac Anyway, it should give you some basic information and one way to find out is to use the serial number and go to apples website. That, I think, will help. Correct me if I am wrong!
