Noob question

Reading through several threads and the FAQ I already have many of my questions aswered. Kudos to this forum! 😀 One very silly question remains. As there is only one access hatch in my pending iMac, the one for SO DIMMS, I wonder if there's an onboard battery in an iMac. For the internal clock. And if there is (must be) how does one replace it after it runs out?

I believe there is one -- I think you can see it on picture three here:

So yeah, you'd have to access the innards of the Mac to change it. That's how it's been on previous iMacs also, albeit the innards are easier to access on the white plastic iMac by far.
