    After reformatting my laptop, do I have to download osx from the internet?

    Does MBA come with a recovery disk?

    You don't get installation disks with OSX any longer, so when you format the SSD on your MBA, just use Internet recovery to reinstall Mountain Lion

    It's a simple process and with a good fast connection speed you will be up and running in no time. All your purchases ( except third party applications) are available via the Mac App Store using your Apple ID
