The other morning I got onto my computer to find Nord missing in the menubar. I thought maybe that the app updated and quit. however I can't find the app anywhere on my machine its completely disappeared. I went to the App Store and tried to download it again and it tells me that it can't intall and to try again later. when I go to the Nord website and download there I get about halfway on the install then it errors out and quits. Has anyone had this issue?

My copy has been a bit flaky too. Trying to update the app. and it kept of failing. I contacted support and they said download it again. For me, at least, that worked. Note I did use CleanMyMac to de-install the app. I think it tracks down all files related to an app. and makes sure it deletes everything related to the app.

Try contacting Nord VPN directly if you haven't yet. The did respond in a day to me.

Well I was going to just wipe the machine and go back to Monterey as using OpenCore to run Ventura on my 2016 MBP and just for grins I thought id see if Sonoma would install since I had nothing to loose and I left to run and errand and I came back to the Sonoma login screen and Nord installed again. I have no explanation as to what happened but it was also affecting other apps. I think it was some sort of issue with unpacking stuff as I also couldn't get other apps to install or update.

First instinct is to check storage conditions. 1TB seems like a lot, but has the Mac somehow concluded that it needs to offload apps to make space for patching/updates?
