Northern California Residents

In Far Northern CA, got my tracking number last night and seems to have shipped out of Louisville, KY today. On track to pick up at my local UPS facility tomorrow morning. :)
 
Just curious - Mine is a 42MM SS with Classic Strap. Still in preparing to ship with tracking by reference showing delivery tomorrow but nothing from Apple.

I called UPS and they said it is coming from Rialto even though the shipping is Next Day Air and Rialto usually ships in 1 day by ground to Mountain View where I am.

Has anyone here gotten a shipped from Apple for this model.

Im beginning to wonder if this style is simply delayed getting to Rialto, and that is what is holding things up?

No, they are already in Rialto. Though I believe it won't leave the facility until 4-5 tonight. Mines going to Sacramento, so it's a straight shot up I-5. Scheduled delivery is tomorrow, Apple still says "preparing for shipment" since Monday.

you still get nothing from apple but friday from ups?


is it possible that they are waiting for another last minute flight from china to LA? so they can distribute all more all together.

I doubt it, I believe it's already in CA and is waiting to depart over night on a truck up to Sacramento.

yes, ours are already in CA. but maybe they are waiting some 'second waves' coming on a last minute flight, so those can be put on our truck for delivery tomorrow.
 
San Francisco here. Two watches ordered, both with UPS tracking numbers. Apple just said one has been shipped but not yet the other. Still saying preparing for shipment and no updates from UPS other than label creation. Online chat says Apple sends out the shipping notification once they hear from UPS that they received the item so maybe they got both but only bothered notifying apple about one. Both Amex charges show as pending not yet posted and both UPS tracking numbers are just labels, even for the one that has so-clled actually shipped. wtf?

just got mine 'shipped', though it doesn't have any change on ups info, just relaxed me a little bit. go check yours

btw, do you know where ups hold packages in sac?

Also shows up in my support profile now too.

Curiously, I got a new tracking number that is different from the one that I got via UPS MyChoice a few days ago.

My two watches are now "shipping", but no further movement at UPS.

The two watches switched to "shipping" about an hour apart. Different pallets I suppose.

Just shipped!!!! No UPS updates yet, and I believe its mather airport, or the Rocklin hub. Not sure.

Ah, not sure, though when you select a pickup spot, pick the one in grey, not the yellow ones. It will tell you the location.

why not yellow ones? it's in west sac. about where i80 and us50 separates.

just remembered i can't find my wallet today, glad I haven't choose to pickup yet.

The yellow ones take an extra day to process as they are stores, not facilities. (FedEx doesn't have this problem)
 
Got the apple update email. Everyone that can see their watches on ups will get them tomorrow. I wouldn't worry. You will see them out for delivery tomorrow.
 
Yup, my Apple profile now says shipped as well, but still no delivery date. I'm hoping that does mean it'll be here tomorrow. Can't wait :D
 
Actually UPS has finally updated with delivery date. Both watches will be here tomorrow by 3pm! YAY!!!!
