Resolved Not able to get 'light mode' on the website

Hi @arn,

Tagging you directly as you seem to be the admin. I am not able to choose the light mode on the homepage, even as I choose so from the link that is available.

I'm using dark mode at my system, but for some websites I prefer a light mode. Am I doing something wrong or did I found something that has been broken?

Did you try the Preferences page? After choosing, scroll to the bottom of the Preferences page and click on "Save".

The mode chooser you're talking about is working for me…at least it is in Firefox and Safari (Ventura).

That's the one. If that doesn't make it change the next thing I'd be trying is deleting the MacRumors website cookie in your browser. In Firefox and Safari I only see one cookie for MacRumors.

Safari, I do use extensions yes but it also happend while I checked it while I was browsing the website incognito.

Your attachment seems to show you already in light mode for the forums.

Are you trying to change the mode on the front page? That's controlled separately from the forums. Check the footer on any news page and you'll see options for Auto, Light, and Dark.
