Hi, I bought an iPhone 5 from bangkok mall last week. I checked the serial number just on Apple Self Solve and it says, TECHNICAL SUPPORT EXPIRED and REPAIRS & SERVICE COVERAGE ACTIVE.

How is that ? Howcome the Technical Support got expired after 2 weeks of purchase ?

Another question.
Im not able to restore my iPhone 5. It says this,
http://d.pr/i/cTEI

I checked Apple site and found this,
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US#error1

It says, its hardware issue.

Since Im in India, can I simply give this iPhone to the authorized Apple dealers here and ask them for a replacement directly ?

You may find they will only deal with an iPhone purchased in your own country.

Try clearing all your pc/macs caches and try again.

Try another pc/mac.

Ensure your on the newest iTunes software.

Sometimes its just a glitch and keepp trying.

Why are you trying to restore.

also check the iphone has not been imei blacklisted.
