Not able to update to 4.3.5

Hello, i have a 1st gereration iPad, when i plugged it in today to sync some photo's i was alerted there was a software update. For some reason i am not able to update to this new version (4.3.5). I am not JB but i have tried about three times and each time i get this error (see attachment). I have the current iTunes 10.4.1, however i am still on OSX 10.6.8

I tried to do a complete restore and received the same error, i rad somewhere about trying to get it to work on a windows version of itunes.

If i was to take this into an apple store would they update it to the latest version?

Have you ever used tinyumbrella or recboot or something to get into/out of DFU mode?

Never on the ipad. I have a iPhone and an AppleTV and i have JB the phone and tried to JB the ATV, but the ipad is 100% stock.

That's your problem! Tinyumbrella stops communication with apple and therefore prevents firmware upgrades. You have to manually edit your hosts file to reallow the communication to apple.

Thanks, that worked. Never thought that JB my iPhone would affect my iPad...
