macOS Not able to view Java applications

Hello,
I'm trying to learn algorithms on my own and I'm facing this problem of not being able to view downloaded Java applications' samples.

Before I had my Macbook's keyboard top changed, double-clicking on the file was enough to visualise it.

I wander if this top change could have affected some parts of my J2SE?

I also noticed that my Xcode application has disappeared😕

So I will try to reinstall it.
