Well... I have two separate orders placed for iPads.

the first order is for one 16gb iPad, when i ordered it (first day of presale) they preauthorized the amount on my card, but then the next week the charge was dropped.

My second order, I placed a week ago, and it was for 2 16gb ipads.... They never preauthorized my card.

A couple days ago, they ran the charge for my second order (the two ipads)

But for my first order.... I still havent been charged?

It's either

a. They cancelled the first order.
b. They will charge you.

You will not get a free iPad. Sorry to rain on your parade.

I thought Apple was only allowing 2 ipads per person for this pre-sale. It seems to me that you tried to order one too many and they canceled one.

Seems Apple is limiting 2 ipads for each person. Since your second order reaches the limit, I guess your first order is going to be cancelled

I think we have a winner.

Nope, I ordered the two orders under different names/addresses/billing

No need to flame me... trying to figure it out. Obviously everyone else has been charged, and I havent

Congrats. You order is free*.

*$499 shipping fee applies to all free iPads.

2*If you live in the state of California, you will also be charged 9.75% sales tax. A $8 recycling charge will also be applied.

Yay for California making things even more free'er.

So, you're saying that this same thing happened before and you ended up with a free iPhone?
