Just opened my new iPad 64gb and connect it to my PC. It is at 97% charged, but when connected to my PC... it says "Not Charging". Is this normal? Plugging it into the wall outlet, shows the battery icon and shows it is charging.

This is normal, your pc is just not putting out enough power to charge the iPad. As ^ said, get a powered hub, or use the power adapter.Just opened my new iPad 64gb and connect it to my PC. Oh yes they are definitely up to something!!Haven't tried it on anything else, but I do know that the USB Cable that came with it is worthless to me as I only charge from my Macbook. If ya ask me's up to something........
just easier for me how i have everything set up to leave it plugged in overnight.....Oh yes they are definitely up to something!!
Why wouldnt you just use the included AC adapter that will charge it in half the time your MacBook will..
