"not enough free space" even though there is enough free space

Trying to install app Destinator 9 for North America. If you look at the screen shot attached to this post, you can see that I have enough space (2.73 GB) for the 1.65 GB app to be installed, yet I get the error message anyway. Thanks in advance for any help.

You need more space for the installer to do it's thing, twice the size of the file. It sucks, I know.

The above is correct. GPS apps especially need at least double the space of the app itself to install.

You need to remove some things, install the app and then sync back everything else.

yeah I see 11 pages of useless crap.. I mean apps you can delete to make space
