I want to upgrade to Tahoe, but macOS says I need at least 24.7Gb of space on Macintosh HD to install it. I have moved all files and folders possible to iCloud or to external drives, but there is still nowhere near enough free.
I know that it is possible to move the Home folder to an external SSD, but I don't have the time or the patience to do that right now.
Anyone know how to "delete" Apple Intelligence? I don't use it on this Mac and it is disabled in System Settings.

On my Sequoia system, Apple Intelligence cannot be enabled because Siri is set to another language (Japanese) than the system itself (English). Try setting Siri to any other language (British English, etc.). It may take a while for that 10GB to remove itself. I think that you should free up some more space on that 256GB disk, it seems it is too full for optimal performance, regardless of the system employed.
I would advise against installing Tahoe in any case. I just don't think it is stable enough yet.
