Mmmm...I thought it will stop bouncing if you focus on it, even if you don't restart immediately. But fair enough.... I dunno. I guess the fact that XP can get and install updates in the "background" (hehehe...their concept of the background involves a lot of pop-ups) is a nice thought. But to me, having to stop what you're doing and update once every three or four weeks, and having that be the only time you even reboot your computer at all, is a pretty good system. I don't really multitask when I update. I just let it do it while I'm getting ready for bed or something.

But I do understand where you're coming from too....

Hows that a bad thing, click on it once and it stops bouncing and then you can go back to what you're doing
