Not getting Gmail notifications ?

So all day my emails have been coming through but in the past hour or so it has stopped. When i receive an email via gmail nothing happens, no notification, no sound, no nothing
iPhone SE running 11.2.1

Another forum member had this issue and restarting their iPhone fixed it.

It's working this morning, must've been a problem with Gmail because i hadn't changed any settings
