I switched to the 1.6GHz Power Mac G5 in February. Stock except for another 256MB of RAM. I can't even play Warcraft 3 at repectable detail levels (all medium). How do I go about overclocking this graphics card or the processor? I don't care if I damage the FX5200. It's a piece of trash anyway.

hmmm I play warcraft 3 with medium settings on my 666mhz 512mb ram TIpowerbook with no problems at all. Have you done any repairs to your computer lately with a program like disk warrior? Or are you running any heavy programs while playing warcraft (wouldn't think so but it never hurts to ask).

Try running all your software updates first. Then run permissions repairs on your boot drive. (It's found inside Aplications>Utilities>Disk Utility.) Make sure you are not using FileVault, or any background app while playing the game. In your System prefrences you can also set processor to Highest Performance.

Consider going to 1GB of RAM, and maybe a Radeon 9600 from eBay.

Warcraft is one of the better mac Games and should do really well on that machine- something sounds weird.
