iPhone 13 Not Liking the 6.1” Size

Wish apple would bring back the 5.8” again with 5G capabilities. I’d be all over it. Perfect size phone
 
My .02, I just upgraded from the original X to the 13 today. I just find standard phone sizes too big for me. I'm hoping to swap it for a mini, I just don't do enough on my "phone" to need such a big screen. To each their own.
 
Oddly enough, the iPhone 13 screen felt too small for me and I upgraded to the larger Pro Max. I also checked out the Mini in person and I can definitely see it’s appeal for those who prefer a smaller device. For a split second, it did feel nice holding a phone that was very pocketable but long-term, it’d annoyed me since I like to watch YouTube videos on my phone. Plus, the battery life on this Pro Max is just wow.

Agree. The battery life is amazing! I struggled with the size at first but have gotten used to it. Love typing on it. It’s much more comfortable to type, for me. I also don’t have an iPad and rarely use my MacBook that’s a few years old. This is the perfect device to do almost everything on for my needs.

Basically what the 14 model is supposed to add. Personally I think the Pro models should have titanium. Much more premium than polished steel, tougher, and lighter. These Max phones can only weigh so much before it because unnecessary.

If the 14 PM is heavier than the 13 PM I will not buy it regardless of any “improvements” or downgrade to the rumored non-pro Max model.

Apple will not offer any titanium because they need to make profit
 
I’m wondering what I will do. Back in about 2018 rumors started to appear about an iPhone mini or SE that utilized Face ID. I knew once the 12 mini was announced that I’d love it. I’ve had it for 17 months and still love it today. The screen is plenty big, but more importantly the form factor is perfect. I no longer have a sore wrist like I did with the iPhone X. It fits wonderfully in any pocket. And the weight is perfect. I pick up my wife’s 12 pro and it feels so bulky and heavy. My current plan is to order an iPhone 13 mini in the fall and skip the 14 line.

I think 6.1 the the best size.
I always owned Pro Max/Plus size (no 12 Pro Max) and owning the 13 Pro Max for few months I'm not liking it.it's SO heavy,thick and awkward to use.not a great experience at all when it comes to handling.

I’d be happy if they reduced the overall size of the Max. Rumors point to 20% smaller bezels. 6.7” is already large enough, typing this on a 5.4” display which is perfectly immersive for all types of content.

The only downside to the Mini is the battery life due to a smaller battery. A Mini with battery life matching the Max would be an ideal smartphone, perhaps in a few years when battery technology improves. Or even an iPhone with the form factor of the Mini that folds into a tablet.

Do y’all think apple will ever come out with a phone that’s not all about the rear camera improvement but more so for rugged use. Still have a camera but make it very small again like older iPhone (pre iphone 11)….? Sometimes it gets old that the rear camera cutout is so big and each year the newer models get a bigger cutout. When will it end and apple tries to make it smaller?

I doubt that Apple will downplay the cameras as they are one of the most popular features of the iPhone. However, rumors suggest that Apple is working on a “periscope” design for some of the lenses in the near future. This would let them build lenses that stick out less.
