Hello everyone

I've been using OLED iPhones since 2017 (iPhone X, XS, 11 Pro, 14, and 16e) without any issues, so I don't think I'm sensitive to PWM unlike what many people in this thread are experiencing :

However, since upgrading to the base iPhone 17 last month I've been experiencing everyday nausea and headaches after using it for a short while. This happens even with ProMotion disabled and the PWM reduction feature enabled in the settings. In contrast, switching to my work iPhone 16e doesn't cause any of these issues.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience ?

Is the iPhone 17's OLED display significantly different from previous OLED iPhones ? Could this be related to the display lottery ?

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience.

The iPhone 17 has a Pro Motion OLED panel which is different to your previous iPhones.

Go into Settings -> Accessibility-> Display & Text Size -> Display Pulse Smoothing.
