not recieving sms

so, i my phone suddenly stopped receiving sms. any ideas why it would start or rather stop doing this? i can send, just not recieve...

First try turning the phone off and then back on.


If that doesn't do anything, then do a restore.


If THAT doesn't do anything,


call Apple.

thanks for the quick reply. on and off was the first thing i did. will restore lose everything on the phone?

Every time you plug in your iPhone, it backs it self up. All your numbers, texts, recent phone calls will all be in there. When you restore it, your phone is empty, but when the iphone is done restoring, in iTunes you will get the option to go to the backup you had. So, no you will not lose anything.

Yeah, it just all syncs back. Apple made it extremely to do all this.
