like the title says, this isn't serious, but extremely irritating

when i charge my new aluminium macbook, it charges up fine, but when it gets to 99% thats it, it won't go to 100% charge, yet it will still say its fully charged up!.

Why is this ?
is it anything to do with the fact it says my battery has 99% health? for example once my battery gets to 98% health will it only charge up to 98% and not 99% 100% ?

thanks

Picture your battery as if it were a glass of water. At first its easy to fill because it's empty, but as you near the top you are careful not to overflow it. So you steadily diminish the amount of water you fill your glass with, until you pour only drops to have a perfect 100% fill. So, basically the battery is trying to do the same thing. I also have my MacBook charge 99% and it doesn't bug, annoy or pester me at all.

Mine is at 98 right now. All you have to do is calibrate the battery so that you can get the most accurate results from the percentage meter. You only have to do this about every month or two though
