I used remote disk to re-install os x on my old MBA Gen 1 before selling it on ebay.

The install was successful (it rebooted to the welcome sequence and then I turned it off), but it never prompted me to insert the second disk, and the iphoto and iDVD applications had been unticked (and untickable) in the installation menu.

Have I accidentally done a limited re-install? As I am selling it I want it to have all the 'normal' applications ready to go. Do I need to try again?

Thanks

H.

Do it again. This time erase and set and NEW partition in Disk Utility. Once thats done you will be able to re-select the optional apps.

Thank you Mr DJ.

Not sure where I should run disk utility from? Whilst booted up via remote disk?

Thanks.
