Does anybody here seriously believe that an Apple employee would be running around with a naked iPhone 5 and be nonchalantly using it while standing in line?
No offense but based on the recent tract record of phones being lost/stolen etc. I just think that although phones can and are being field tested all over I think employees are being a little more careful where and when they are using their phones. Why would they be using it in line at a Chipotle? With that said Im just curious if you know the guy who saw Ferris pass out at 31 flavors?

Where would you expect them to be testing them? Who would expect to see a new iPhone in Chipotle? No one so that makes it the perfect place, a real life situation surrounded by people and other phones. And yes to all those saying its a mod how does that explain the extra break in the frame?

Not to be like 'that person', but i don't believe anything your saying! If someone stared my phone outta it, id probably look scared aswell and hide it! And your comments seem wayyy to defensive over something that you apparently don't know you saw...! Sorry to be that horrible 'that didn't happen' person in the thread, but thats just my opinion!!
That 2nd picture doesn't look too "public" to me ...
Its as public as being in Chipotle.
Then why would he quickly pocket it and run out of the restaurant without getting one of those delicious burritos?
The OP never said he ran out. He just put it in his pocket and didn't answer a call. To be brutally honest, that doesn't seem weird at all. I rarely answer calls when I am in line at restaurants because I don't like being that guy who orders while on the phone.
Just reread the post and realised you're right; he didn't run out. But the way the OP worded it makes it seem like the guy wanted to get out of there before he could be questioned about it.
I couldn't see the bottom half but the top looked like the 4 only with the extra break in the frame. The back looked like an iPad only with a silver apple logo instead of black. I also noticed a silver lining around the front screen.
You do realize what you're looking at is a concept ( read : guess ) drawing right ?
