Seriously. has Apple ever pulled such a dickmove? at least man up and say that it only lasts a day...
 
They probably didn't announce the battery life because it's still a work in progress. It's not ready to ship this month like the iPhone 6/6+. They said early 2015, not even January 1st. That could be January-March (I think March would be the best bet). They could make much more refinements between now and then to improve battery life via software or even put a larger battery in it.
 
Heck, they could even put a different chipset in it.

Anywho, this means either it's nothing to write home about, and Apple is still trying to optimize their software to eek out 16 hours per charge,

or

Cook was playing coy, and it'll be phenomenal. The battery is like 2/3 of the watch from the cutaway they showed.

But I'm not optimistic.

I agree with this. Early 2015 proabably means marchish
 
March sounds about right. This gives Apple plenty of time to install electrical outlets under trees in parks where people run...for the tree huggers who need to juice up their Apple Watches. :rolleyes:
