I doubt it, sadly. I have a feeling that means they found the box opened either on site, or unloading it. Not that it dissapeared (as that wouldn't show anything until its scanned again) The good news is that the carrier should replace it, but that still sucks since it was in transit.

Best of luck, though, and hope they find it.

Jesus hopscotching Christ that's horrible news!! I'm sorry you have to deal with this nonsense. Damn thieves.

Can't believe some people think some phones are worth a job and many potential future jobs, since most places won't readily hire folks with theft on their records.

I still haven’t heard from Apple on when they are going to send a replacement phone. The last time I talked to Apple they said they had to do an investigation on the incident and then make a determination on what needed to be done next.

In the mean time Apple has my money and there is no phone

I am afraid that is kinda standard procedure as sometimes show up. Doubt it here.

If you had the money, best to just rebuy sooner of later you will get the money back on the stolen one. Even if they find you could return. Very bad luck, indeed!

Sorry.

Apple should send a replacement phone and then take up the stolen phone with UPS.

In the mean time I am without the money and without a phone that I never even got to see or touch in the first place.

While I agree there are steps to go through. I would be calling and bugging them everyday till they sent me a new phone. If UPS knows that they were stolen, Apple should replace by now.

I'm surprised Apple haven't sent you a new one immediately if UPS know they are stolen.. Apple are apparently know for AAA customer support.

The replacement finally arrived today. Apple emailed instructions on sending the old one back. They fail to understand the old one was stolen!
