iPod touch not working after 3.0!!! help!

Help! I downloaded the 3.0 software update for my ipod touch... but while updating it, an error appeared, and now Its not even working... it won't even let me restore it..

I'm getting this: "Not able to restore. unknown errror (14)" what the hell?!

please help.. I'm getting frustrated here...

i got that too i took it to the apple store they gave me a new one. so i sold it as new.
