Would be curious how it performs with Notability - perhaps even a short Youtube clip?

Not sure when I would be able to do that. The next two weeks will be jam packed with me finishing up my final thesis paper for a class that I am taking.

Maybe closer to June I can put something together.

I have not looked through it, but I see a dedicated thread on the Jot Script (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1678549/). I could post the video in that thread when I do it.

I kid you not, I used this app everyday in college.

I studied electrical engineering, and it was fantastic for writing notes, writing equations, drawing diagrams, switching between different colors, annotating PDFs, importing images, doing voice recordings, etc. It was super easy to organize everything and all my material backed up automatically to Dropbox. My iPad was all I ever brought to class (since I had pdf versions of textbooks imported into this app as well!).

10/10 recommend. The only issue I found is that having the right stylus is key to using this app (or any hand-writing app for that matter) successfully. I haven't been in the stylus game for about a year now, but I swore by this: http://www.justgosmart.com/200m#200-m-series

I bought this and Goodnotes, and I found I like Goodnotes better, primarily for how the word wrapping works in the text zoom box.

For all these notes apps, the key to writing is using the text zoom box.

I don't think Goodnotes has the audio notes feature, though, and for free... well, you can't beat that price!

I no longer use a paper notebook for work anymore. Everything is in my iPad rMini, and it's SOOOOO much better organized now by project as opposed to just chronological by meeting in my paper notebook.
