i have used notability on mac before,
it sucks,
always crashed when i was importing pdf in,
& cox it can't really do handwriting function so other than syncing with your iOS,
i don't think it is really good software

Use Notability on my iPad extensively, keeping records of meetings for Minutes/Agenda purposes - bought it mainly to get everything off my iPad, and onto my Mac for backup purposes, and to review.

Seeing this thread, reminded me that I have a little Wacom Bamboo pad. Will give it a bash on my Mac - if it works, that would be a super bonus!

Hello did you manage to integrate and work with your wacom bamboo pad on your mac? I could buy such a pad and take handwritten notes... Is that possilbe in notability?

Thank you in advance for your response.

Notability on the Mac does have the hand-writing tool. I also own a Wacom Bamboo and used to use it heavily for note-writing on Mac laptops (before there were iPads and better technologies)... it's been a long time since I used my Bamboo. So yes, you could use Notability on the Mac alongside a Bamboo to create hand-written notes. One potential downside is that the writing tool on the Mac version does not have the magnifying box that the iOS version does. In other words, depending on the size of your screen (which your Bamboo scales to - unless newer versions allow you to change that), it may be difficult to write small.
