Notability problems

2 main problems.... I'm using Notability on an iPad Pro....

1) I can't move the margins left or right..... only have about 2 inches in the middle of the page to write on

2) the font is unstable, it changes on its own.... one sentence may be size 12 and change on its own to size 9, other sentences do the same

3) I couldn't find any Notability instructions that discussed margins... is there such a thing?

Mine did that with one of the updates about 6 months ago. My margins were screwed up.... nothing would fix it. So I backed up my device, removed the app, and reinstalled it. Fixed it. Might want to try it.

Thanks for responding! I've got tons of important things there... but will deleting it remove all its contents like it says it will when you click on delete? I guess I need double reassurance....

I have mine back up to the cloud. It should not delete those that are saved. But I have had times when apps won't retrieve from iCloud. I will add also the last update from notability has been buggy and laggy. might want to use Notes for a few days and see if they come out with a patch.

I appreciate your caution. I'll just wait a while. But I'm getting impatient. Notability has been super buggy for about 6 months or more in many ways. It's unfortunate because it used to be a good program. Do you have a link that will take me to Notability instructions on margins, that sort of thing?

Thanks for that. I didn't see anything referencing margins, and now I've got some fonts that are size 10 and others size 8 after I highlighted ALL and clicked a size 10 font.... it's just totally messed up. I don't think Notability can fix these problems as they're tech problems and with all the apps.... things just don't work well together.

At this point I think it's corrupted. I would delete it. It sounds like something has gone bad. Do a back up and uninstall the app restart your device and reinstall it. Hopefully you don't lose the content.
