Notch hiding switch on iPhone X [MUST WATCH]

I like the idea and I find it interesting that some people say that they'd buy the X if it had that feature. I'm going to buy the X and I think that I'll get used to the notch and it won't be a problem for me.

Apps on the X will have the color around the notch the same color as the app's navigation bar color. Developers can change the navigation bar color to black to hide the notch a bit, but it may not go with their app's color scheme. Here's my Pressed Coins-WDW app on the X Simulator. Imagine the notch space as being black.

Notch would look better with AMOLED black ears and white indicators. Thanks for sharing your app view.

Oh you new kids, you have nooooo idea....

I hated that mouse with the passion of a thousand burning suns. And its successor was only better in that it was more natural in shape then its predecessor I still hated it.



Back on topic this would make me a lot less leary about the X if it had that feature and I think utilzies the OLED display perfectly. But we shall see what companies do about it especially game companies. Also Apple could have done some interesting things with a dynamic and permanent on screeen status bar. Maybe game developers will use it for having stats there or something who knows. I am not about ready to dump it out an airlock yet but I am defintiely going to give the marketplace time to mature about the notch first before I jump over to that form factor.
