I used to be hardcore Apple user; switched to Android a couple of years ago (Nexus One). I wonder if anyone has recently gone from something like the Note 2 back to an iPhone? How is the experience? What do you miss from Android?

I could imagine anyone buying a note... would have a very hard time going to an iphone as they are both designed for a completely different target (other then being a smartphone).

Note: big, do it all on the go device. Almost or is a substitute for a computer.

Iphone: Smartphone that is very nicely engineered.

I wouldn't switch back personally. The battery on the iPhone is much shorter and the screen is just too small especially coming from a note. You'll also miss the dedicated back button.

Currently using a Note 2 and will be upgrading to a Note 3. 5s is personally a downgrade for me.

Same here but going from an S3 to a Note 3 and looking forward to expanding the screen size and functionality.

Use my wife's 5 every now and again and its a great phone but so hard to go back to that smaller screen.

Had the Note 2, loved it. Also still have the iPhone 5 and like it. Bit when I switched from the Note to the iPhone...wow. The iPhone feels like a tiny pebble in your hand. And the one thing I just have a hard time with is the smaller screen. It's so much harder to read, type, etc.

Rocking the Moto X and S4 now and I've become interested in the Note 3 lately. I'll probably pick one up eventually.

Exactly what I was thinking. Battery life is so darn good on the Note 2 and the screen size lolz. Will probably end up going with the Note 3

I don't think I can switch back right now. I am used to the big screen and the openness of Android. I use the S-pen quite a lot too, more than I imagined I would when I got the phone.

I went back from a Note 2 to an iphone 5, I just needed some of the functionality that iOS has that Google does not have, and the Note 2 was just too large to be comfortable in some situations. With that said the iphone 5 is just USELESS to browse the internet, maybe I'm getting old but I have no idea how anyone could sit there and browse for more than a couple of minutes, the screen is just too small. I'm more of a business user though, my iphone primarily gets used for actually making phone calls.

For a while I ran with a Note 2 AND an iphone 5, trying to use the Note 2 as a tablet. I couldn't get a data only plan to work on it, and it couldn't be added to mobile share so I kind of gave up on that. I am definitely considering the Note 3, but I fear the same issues may come up again. What I'd REALLY love is a 6" tablet (7" is just a tad too large) with a stylus that I could carry around with my iphone.
