2013 is coming. Samsung is expected to launch their new flagship smartphones.

What features do you want to see on the successor of Samsung Galaxy Note 2?

    Here's what on my list.

    1. Edge to edge Screen (6.3" rumored screen on the existing Note 2 size)
    2. Better Battery. (Huawei managed to have 4000 mAh on their upcoming 6.1" Ascend Mate)
    3. Improved S-Pen.
    4. 1080p Display.
    5. Better design. (More beautiful than the iPhone5)

I highly doubt the first 2 happening but I guess the OP did ask what you want not what you expect.

1080p is obviously gonna happen, but I'm pretty sure a 6.3" display would equal a phone that's quite a bit larger than the Note 2. Even if it was edge to edge, I think it's impossible to keep the same size.

I want a 6+ inch screen with a stock 5000 mAh replaceable battery and wireless charging built in. And I want to be able to root and unlock it just as easily as we can with the current Note 2.

Hopefully Samsung realizes that great battery life is one of the key reasons people get the Note 2. By going to a stock 5000 mAh battery, the Note 3 would get even better battery life than the Motorla Razr Maxx. And I hope Samsung keep making the battery replaceable because that is a big plus for those of use who pass down phones to family members.

Everyone who wants larger battery you know you can pick up a 4200mAh same physical size as the factory 3,100 mAh (no need for custom backplate) for under 20$

I've read the reviews for those supposed "4200 mAh" batteries that are the same size as a stock battery and every time it turns out that it is a scam and the actual battery capacity is no where near that. You have to ask yourself, if you can get a cheap battery that has much more capacity for the same size, why didn't Samsung use it?

I'm good with the 5.5", just get me better Specs like Key Lime Pie and 1080P.

I'm averaging 1.5 days. Give me 2 days, HEAVY USE and I'm happy.

I have a 64GB microSD card and I use my second Note 2 like an LTE iPod so I would like to see it start at 32GB instead of the usual 16GB.

Samsung needs to step up, end this Plastic/Toy feel like. Take note (no pun intended) from Nokia's 920 & hTc 8X or DNA.

I can't really think of anything else right now, so I would have to with Wireless Charging.

6" screen on 1080p, with software customly tuned for multitasking.
It would need to be able to split in four 540p 3" windows, and the phone would run 4 apps at once.
Zero bezel and capacitive buttons instead of physical ones, together with one for multitasking management. On the Note 2 it is a bit gimmicky.
Decent materials, plastic is fine and helps keeping the phone light but it has to be decent plastic.
It would be nice as well to keep the Samsung features without having to deal with the repulsive TouchWiz UI. Holo is fine.

Good question, I believe the stock battery is up to higher quality standards, and uses a slightly different voltage. However the "cheap" replacement 4200mAh does get noticeably better battery life for me.
