There already was a rumor, stating that apple is also on this. The more companies actually work on this, the better. Pretty awesome if you ask me 🙂

I want this so badly! 😱 (on smaller phones though) As long as it's charges anywhere between 70-100% the speed of a cable I wouldn't mind.

I love wirelessly charging my N7. It uses a pad, but I can't wait until you can just plug a transmitter into the wall and have it send a signal and charge your device across the room while in your hand. Sounds like one of the coolest features. I wonder when/if "charge ports" will be a thing of the past...

Hopefully it's longer than just one meter, or that defeats the purpose. At least 2 to 3 meters would be great.
